Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?

Q: My password is not being accepted when I try to log in. What should I do?
A: Your password is case sensitive, so you must type it exactly the way you did when you registered. If you have not registered for the West Virginia Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotion, you must do so before you can log in and submit entries. To register, click the REGISTER link and follow the instructions.

Q: What should I do if I encounter a problem at the West Virginia Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotional website?
A: Go to the FEEDBACK page to let us know what problem you are experiencing. We will assist you via return email. The more detail you can provide about your problem, the better chance we will have of quickly resolving it.

Q: I made a typing mistake while submitting an entry. How do I check for and correct entry errors?
A: All entries submitted are automatically verified upon entry. If you make a mistake while typing and entering an invalid entry, you will receive a message stating, "You are attempting to enter an invalid ticket number." Please check the number(s) on your ticket and try typing it in again. Also, all your entries can be viewed on the MY ENTRIES page. Please verify that you haven't already entered the ticket.


Q: How do I update my personal information that I submitted when I registered?
A: First, log in using your West Virginia Lottery Wheel of Fortune user ID and password. Then, click on EDIT PROFILE to get to your account information page. Make your desired changes, then click on the SUBMIT button to make the changes effective.

Q: I have changed my email address? Can I change it in my registration information?
A: Yes. Log in using your old email address and password, then click on EDIT PROFILE and follow the instructions to update your email address.

Q: Can I enter the drawing more than once?
A: Yes, you may enter the drawing as many times as you wish, however, each entry requires the use of a separate qualified ticket. You are eligible to win only one (1) prize per drawing. Limit one (1) trip prize per person for the entire promotion.

Q: How can I be sure that my internet entry has been submitted?
A: When you submit your entry, a notice stating that your entry has been accepted will appear at the top of the page. If you see this notice, rest assured that it has been submitted successfully. You can also confirm your entries by viewing the MY ENTRIES page. Your entries will appear on the bottom of that page.

Q: Once I have entered my non-winning ticket for the West Virginia Lottery Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotion, do I need to keep my ticket?
A: Once you have successfully entered your non-winning ticket, you do not need to retain it to collect on a winning entry. However, you may want to retain non-winning tickets for record-keeping purposes (e.g., to retain as proof of purchase for tax purposes).

Q: May I enter a ticket on the internet and then mail it in as an entry, too?
A: No. This promotion will only accept entries via the internet. Any tickets that are mailed in or hand delivered will be disqualified.

Q: Can I delete an internet entry?
A: Once your entry has been successfully submitted, it cannot be deleted.

Q: What happens if I submit my entry after the drawing deadline?
A: After the final drawing deadline, the website will not allow you to register or submit any further entries. No entries may be submitted after December 9, 2019 11:50 PM EST.

Q: When are the cut-off dates for the drawings and how many drawings will be held?
A: There will be one (1) Second Chance Drawing. The drawing's deadline date and time are as follows:

Q: What are my chances of winning a prize in the West Virginia Lottery Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotion?
A: Your odds of winning are based on the total number of entries that are received for each drawing and the total number of entries that you have submitted. Total entries for the promotion will not exceed 375,000.

Q: How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner?
A: Winners' names and hometowns are posted on the West Virginia Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotional website following winner validation. The West Virginia Lottery will then notify all winners by telephone to provide information on claiming their prize. Winners must respond to the initial West Virginia Lottery phone and/or email contact within forty-eight (48) hours following their particular draw date or the winner shall forfeit the prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate.

Q: If I am selected as a winner, when is my trip?
A: If you are selected as a Grand Prize Trip winner in the West Virginia Lottery Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotion, the dates of the trip will be between April 13 through 16, 2020.

Q: Why does it take so long to post the WINNERS LIST?
A: After the physical drawing takes place, the winning entries need to be reviewed and verified for eligibility. The winners' information data is entered and certified by the West Virginia Lottery before posting on the website.

Q: I see my name on the WINNERS LIST as a West Virginia Lottery Wheel of Fortune Second Chance Promotion winner, but I have not received an email or a phone call. What should I do?
A: If your name is listed as a winner, call the West Virginia Lottery at 800-982-2274 immediately to claim your prize.

Q: How are the drawing winners selected?
A: Winners are randomly selected from all internet entries received for each drawing. Drawings are held under the observation of an independent Certified Public Accountant.
